GovDirect application ceased on
18 December 2015
An email communication was sent out to all registered users on record to their listed email address.
Reckon acquired GovDirect nearly 2 years ago as part of our strategy for providing a Standard Business Report (SBR) solution for a number of our applications. This product has been undergoing a re-development to form the engine of all SBR transmissions for the Reckon product range going forward.
As part of our recent review of all products within the Reckon range we assessed the commercial viability of a number of our applications in relation to return on investment.
We regret to advise you that the GovDirect application will no longer be part of Reckon’s future direction. The plan will be to wind down the application development and support over the next couple of months and thank you for your business and support.
The application ceased being officially supported from 18 December 2015 and the GovDirect servers will be switched off on 31 January 2016.
Subscribers who have a valid license of GovDirect expiring on or after this date should contact Reckon Support to obtain further information about their subscription.
Up until the date GovDirect is officially retired, we will continue to provide support for the users and product fixes as applicable.
